G. M. Selby provided the Engineering Design and Environmental Services necessary to complete the Rest Beach Renourishment Project. Our tasks incorporated the overall Project Management and Coordination, the initiation and presentation of a Public Information Program; Geotechnical Sourcing Investigations to identify sand for Beach Nourishment; Preparation of permits
applications and processing through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) , and Monroe County; Nearshore Hardbottom Characterization; Coastal Engineering Design Plans and Specifications; Contractor Bidding Phase Selection and Negotiation; Beach Nourishment on site monitoring.
