Completed in 1926 and designed by the renowned architect Henry Stephen Harvey, the Guaranty Building remains a vital piece of South Florida’s architectural heritage. At the time of its construction, it represented the largest real estate investment in West Palm Beach history.

G.M. Selby was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a high-level Structural Condition Assessment. Our objective was to evaluate the integrity of the building’s common elements while respecting its status on the National Register of Historic Places. This project required a delicate balance: ensuring 21st-century safety and code compliance without compromising the 20th-century historic fabric.
